You can forgive but the negative emotions got to dealt with. Dissapointment not renew. Mindset can be stronghold, hurt word stay w us till we deal with it.

You may spend some time to open to God to search your heart if there's any *-ve emotions* such as *Anger, Shame,Fear of a person. Anger includes Sadness, Hurt, Frustration, Depression, Disappointment, Hatred, ect* in your heart directed *to someone, God or Self* . Write it down , it could be even from your childhood, some could be suppressed in our memory, it's important to ask God to help you to be willing to give it up to Him to deal with it. List them in the 1st column.
