soap 20/6 1 Kings 8:10-12 wed cell & 7/6 soap

s: 20-6-23 When the priests withdrew from the Holy Place, the cloud filled the temple of the Lord. 11 And the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled his temple. 12 Then Solomon said, “The Lord has said that he would dwell in a dark cloud; 13 I have indeed built a magnificent temple for you, a place for you to dwell forever.” o:It is wonderful to see the glory of God (cloud) filling the temple. This has again a 2nd reminder for me. The earlier one was in old testament too that when the glory of God fill the tabernacle, Moses cannot even be inside, he has to be out of the tabernacle just like the priests here withdrew fr the holy place. Our Great God, dont share his glory with anyone. The glory is to God alone. He gave us everything & he alone deserve the Glory. Application: We must always become lesser and God become more in us. We are his temple the dwelling place. Let his spirit filled us and when we are full of him, his glory may come & fill us. In order for that to happen, we will go thru the santification process as christian, putting God first, becoming more and more of Him, christlike, courageous,full of mercy and grace, compassion, full of love, look into the interest of others more than ourself, selfless, letting go of worries & anxiety and have a life surrender to God to follow his ways, his timing and trusting Him that He's fully in control and we need not to fear but to live by faith & not be sight in Him. Prayer: Father God, help me to remember that I am bought at a price, the precious blood of Jesus. I am yours, I belong to you...help me to live a life of faith in obedience to your Word of Life that thru me, your vessel, other will drawn to you and know you & ultimately receive you as Lord & Saviour of their life. He was at this roof top suppose to be at war, walking and as he looked out, saw the beauty of a woman taking bath. Instead of just stoping looking at her, he went on enquire on who she is n then connect to her n slept with her ended up she was pregnant. It’s started with Lust of the eye. If it’s not careful…it can move on to the next step, closer and fell into sin, adultery. One step lead to the other. Careful, subtle. Theres consequences. A: lead by the Holy spirit , to be at the right place at right time. When facing Temptation, we need tthe exercise self control and not pursuing the lust of our eye or flesh. Must be able to say no and flee, and stop dwelling on the wrong thots. Also pre-set your mind be good to handle the temptation. Pray: Help us o Lord God, deliver us fr temptation & if we face temptation, help us & gv us the strength to exercise our self control to overcome it. In Jesus name we pray Amen 🙏🏻
