1. PERSONAL COVERING

Father God, thank You for having chosen me in Christ before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in Your sight.

In response to Your loving kindness and mercy, I surrender myself to You to be Your living sacrifice – to live in holiness and righteousness, delighting in bringing pleasure to Your heart.

Lord, I repent and do not want to conform to the ways of this world – imitating its values, ideals, opinions and culture.

Lord, I permit Your Spirit to convict me and cleanse my mind from every prideful and ungodly presumptuous thoughts which exalt itself against the knowledge of You.

Lord, I bring every thought and imagination to yield in obedience to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Lord, I repent of every “I, me and myself– centredness”, unforgiveness, bitter envy, jealousy, greed and pride in my heart.

Lord, I ask that I be rooted and established in Your love so that I am in You and You are in me. Empower me with Your love to love my neighbours.

Lord, I thank You for the blood of Christ who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself unblemished to God, cleanse my conscience from acts that lead to death, so that I may serve You.

Lord, I now invite Your presence to saturate my heart and my home as I consecrate this time to You.

 

2. FAMILY COVERING

Lord, I thank you for my family and I present them to You.

Lord, I pray that no weapon formed against my family will prosper. No plot or scheme of the enemy will divide us or cause dissension in our home. Let Your love which covers a multitude of sins enable us to honour one another so that the enemy does not have any foothold in our lives. Help us preserve good and loving relationships and guard our home so that it will have a peaceful atmosphere. Let Your glory fill us so that we can be good testimonies to Your name and so that unsaved family members will come to know and receive You as their personal Lord and Savior.

Lord, I pray for Your protection upon my family from all sicknesses, accidents and calamities. Where there is sickness, send forth Your Word and let Your healing power bring healing to the body.

Where there are anxieties leading to depression, let Your perfect love cast out all fear and Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Lord, deliver us from the evil one. Thank You for commanding Your angels charge over us and lifting us up so that we do not strike our foot against a stone. Thank You for Your firewall of protection that surrounds my family. I plead for the precious blood of Jesus to cover, cleanse and sanctify us. We put on Your full armour so that we can take our stand. I commit my family to You, Jehovah Sabaoth, to keep us safe from any form of evil and deception. Thank You that we who put our trust in You will not be put to shame.

In Jesus’ name I pray and ask. Amen.

 

 

3. PRAYER FOR PASTOR / LEADERS & THEIR FAMILIES

Dear Lord, we want to bring our pastors before you today (or pray specifically for a pastor as led by the Holy Spirit).

We thank you for them and for their obedience to heed the call of God upon their lives as shepherds over the flock in (your church name). We plead the blood of Jesus over them and their families, keeping them safe from accidents and sicknesses. We declare over them that Your very presence will be their firewall! Shield them against the fiery darts of the enemy by the strengthening of their faith.

We also pray that they will only hear the voice of the Good Shepherd and that the voice of the enemy which brings condemnation and confusion be silenced in Jesus’ name!

Lord, we ask that You will grant them discernment of Your good, pleasing and perfect will through the renewal of their minds by the Holy Spirit.

Give them boldness and wisdom to walk out Your will in their lives, in every ministry and in the church, so that they will always be in full alignment with You.

Father, we also ask that they will have a fresh encounter with You and their intimacy with You will go even deeper. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

 

4. PRAYER FOR THE BODY OF CHRIST

Lord, we come before You to give thanks to You for my church which is part of the body of Christ in Malaysia.

We thank You that You have loved the church in Malaysia, gave Yourself up for her, making her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word. We will not cease to pray that you will continue to give our church the spirit of wisdom and revelation to know you better and to open the eyes of our hearts that we might know the hope of our calling, the glorious riches of our inheritance and to know the incomparable great power that is available to all of us who believe.

We now come together united in one voice to ask that the Holy Spirit will release a mighty spirit of awakening in all our churches uniting us in heart and mind to fulfill God’s mandate for the church of God in Malaysia. May every church rise to their destiny and let there be a God alignment as each church fulfills their assignments.

We pray for the churches of every race, tribe and language groups and foreigners in this nation to prosper and nothing to hinder the work of God through them. We pray that you will protect the church against spirits of division, discouragements and despair.

We pray that every weapon formed against Your church will not stand and You will refute every tongue that rises to accuse us.

Almighty God we pray that together we will shine like stars in the midst of a dark and depraved world holding out the word of life so that many will come to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let God arise in our churches and let his enemies be scattered.

In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Repentance

Exodus 20:3-6 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.

Father we confess and repent that our ancestors and we have worshipped other gods. We confess and repent worship of gods of mountains, hill and valleys; gods of the earth and under the earth; water spirits, modern worship of riches, beauty, education and kinds of status symbols. We repent for the idolatry of worshipping mammon (money). In the Name of Jesus we confess all sins of our ancestors ourselves for taking part in Shamanism (the worship of creation). We repent of this act and ask God's forgivenes: We repent for bowing down to worship the heavenly host the sun, moon, stars, planets, circuits, orbits and pathways.

We confess the sins of witchcraft, sorcery and divination in our families. We repent, renounce and forsake the demonic priesthood all activities connected with (divination, interpreting omens, casting spells, dealing with mediums or spirits). - Father we repent the sins of ancestral worship of the dead (depart ancestors) we repent for consulting the dead and the undertaking o secret death ritual, in the name of Jesus Christ. - We repent on behalf of ourselves and our forefathers for making demonic covenants, oaths, and agreements with Satan concerning the dead, the realms of the dead and using bones of dead people and animals to perform witchcraft.

We renounce all vows, covenants, contracts, oaths, pledges, commitments, agreements, or dedications which have been made to Satan or any deity other than the Sovereign God by us or by others on our behalf at any time, whether before or since birth. We renounce allegiance to the Illuminati, to the Freemasons, to any lodge or secret society that we have ever made or done on our behalf. We ask the Lord Jesus to break the power of any curses attached to us for anything we promised or did, or that was said or done to us or for us while we was involved with them.

We ask the Lord Jesus Christ to loose us from their power and render their assignment against void and null, and command them to cease their operation against us. We renounce and destroy the blinding of spiritual truth, the darkness of the soul and the false imagination in the name of Jesus Christ. We renounce all anger, demonic rage, hatred, murderous thoughts, revenge, Spiritual apathy, false religion and unbelief in the name of Jesus Christ. We renounce and forsake evil locations dedicated to evil powers in our families. We repent, renounce and forsake monuments raised up as altars to demonic spirits that control our families. We pray O Lord that you release fire from your heavenly throne and consume them to ashes. We renounce and forsake the act of our forefathers choosing to undergo rituals involving the spirit of poverty. We destroy the curse of poverty over our lives and members of our households in the name of Jesus Christ.

Breaking Ancestral Evil Hold of Idolatry. Every grip of the evil consequences of the ancestral worship of our forefathers' god over our lives and family, break by fire, in the name of Jesus. • In the name of Jesus Christ, we sack the evil priesthood from our generational line of inheritance. We replace it with the priesthood of Christ. We break all soul ties between the demonic priesthood, and us and we cancel all witness against us. Every covenant with water spirits, desert spirits, witchcraft spirits, spirits in evil sacred trees, masquerade spirits, evil family guardian spirits, family gods, family/village serpentine spirits, inherited spirit husbands/wives, spirits of sacred rocks/hills, be broken by the covenant of the blood of Jesus.

Every unconscious evil soul-tie and covenant with the spirits dead ancestors, be broken by the power in the blood of Jesus. Every decision, vow, or promise made by our forefathers contrary to our divine destiny, loose your hold by fire, in the name of Jesus. Every legal ground that ancestral/guardian spirits have in our lives, be destroyed by the blood of Jesus. • Isaiah 44:24-25 We break the covenants our ancestors entered on behalf of our families. We cancel the terms and conditions, vows and oaths, the penalties, the claims and seals of the covenant against our families. We break and release our lives and families from every ancestral demonic pollution, originating from the idolatry of our forefathers in the name of Jesus Christ. We break free and lose ourselves from the grip and control of family idol spirit in the name of Jesus.

Every problem in our lives and family promoted by idol worship, die in the name of Jesus. • Lord, deliver us from every evil pattern, emanating from evil family idol, in the name of Jesus. Every generational curse of God resulting from the sin of idolatry of our forefathers, loose your hold, in the name of Jesus. Every ancestral evil altar prospering against us, be dashed against the Rock of Ages, in Jesus' name. • Every hold of any sacrifice ever offered in our family or on our behalf, we break you, in the name of Jesus. • Any ancestral sacrificial bloods of animals, or human beings affecting us, loose your hold by the blood of Jesus. • Any curse placed upon our families by anyone who was wronged by our ancestors (cheated, maltreated) at the point of death break now, in Jesus' name.

We cut off, every evil ancestral river flowing down to our generation in the name of Jesus. Every evil ancestral habit and weakness of moral failures manifesting in our lives, loose your grip and release us now, in Jesus' name. Every rage and rampage of ancestral and family spirits resulting from our being born again be quenched by the fire of God, in the name of Jesus. Every ancestral embargo, be lifted; and let good things begin to break forth in our live and in our family, in the name of Jesus. We recover every good thing stolen by ancestral evil spirits from our forefathers, our immediate family and ourselves, in Jesus' name
