Ppl don’t like me? Ponder what behind their story.

"I was eleven when my grandma said seven words that ended my fear of being disliked forever." It was an ordinary afternoon. Nothing dramatic. Just the usual walk home from school, past familiar houses, down the road to my grandparents' farmhouse. Most days I'd burst through the door talking about homework or friends or whatever felt important at that age. But that day was different. I walked in quieter. Slower. Carrying something I couldn't name yet. Grandma noticed immediately. She didn't ask questions. She didn't rush me or fill the silence. She took my coat, led me to the kitchen, and did what she always did when someone needed comfort. She made hot chocolate. Set out cookies. Sat down and waited. Halfway through my cup, the truth slipped out. "There's this girl at school. I thought she liked me. But today she said something mean." I stared into my drink. "I don't think anyone at school likes me." For an eleven-year-old, that felt like the world ending. Like being rejected by life itself. Grandma didn't rush to reassure me. She took a slow sip of coffee, choosing her words carefully. Then she looked at me, soft but steady. "Totty," she said. She always called me Totty instead of Kathy. "A few people in life will really like you. Some won't like you at all." She paused. "But most people? They won't think much about you either way." I blinked, surprised. "They might notice your shoes. Your smile. Say hello in passing," she continued. "But once you're gone? They go right back to their own lives." Even at eleven, it landed. She wasn't being cruel. She was being honest in the gentlest way possible. One person's words didn't define my worth. Most people aren't judging us as harshly as we imagine. They're just surviving their own days. Then she added something that changed everything. "If someone walks by without saying hello, it probably isn't personal. Maybe they're distracted. Worried about something you can't see. And if someone's rude when you haven't done anything wrong?" She leaned forward. "There's a good chance they're carrying something heavy themselves." In other words: not everything is about you. And that's actually freeing. That moment settled into me quietly. It didn't erase hurt forever. But it gave me somewhere to return to. Even now, years later. When I feel excluded. When silence stings. When words land harder than they should. I go back to that kitchen. To the hot chocolate. To my grandma's calm voice. And I remind myself: If I didn't do anything wrong, it probably has more to do with them than me. That small piece of wisdom has softened countless hard days. She taught me that most people are too busy with their own fears to focus on mine. That being overlooked isn't rejection—it's just life moving forward. That my worth isn't determined by who notices me in hallways or who remembers to wave. My grandma gave me permission to stop carrying other people's reactions as proof of my value. And I've carried her words instead. Every single day since.

Hero

Find a hero in your Husband book

*************************

The world wisdom is considered foolishness in God’ eyes. Being a follower of Jesus Christ, you see marriage thru a different lens. Objective is how to partner with God for a redemptive process for your marriage.

We have power to build intimacy that guy has given us. Or we can sabotage it. Working hard doesn’t mean work wisely. At Times it can even damage the intimacy. It’s not a Husband improvement project. Is focus on ur role within the marriage. Focus not on what they do wrong but focus on how to respond to your challenges (wow that’s my practic in fact.) you are only accountable and responsible for how you steward your power in your marriage. The power that Guard has given you. How do you use it to honor him & promote intimacy. This book is to apply for practical work in my marriage and also deeper intimacy with God.

It’s easy to point fingers and blame, but the shame point another person to repentance? through all the difficulty in marriage got wanted me to see the weakness of me and seek him to become a better wife and better of me. I can only find the hero in my husband if I’m have humility and have a distinguished character to do so. Looking at him less of anniversary but lover support and friend. I see fear and pride expose but no shame.

The question is not whether or not you would be disappointed in marriage rather what you will do with the disappointment that inevitably occurs.

God plan, wedding is infancy stage.it grow overtime into maturity when living together thru conflicts, accepting difference thru storm. Intimacy requires illusion being in love is replaced with choice to love. 2 imperfect humans accepting each other fault. A woman never marries the man of her dreams she helped the man she married to become the man of his dreams. Frustration either response in anger or invest with faith in his strength. Believing in his potential. Not finding hero to be but hero “in” your husband. X changing your husband but abt hvg vision and expectations that God wants to do.

What a real hero looks like?essence of heroic is sacrifice for others. Husband has been created and called to Emulate the greatest hero Jesus Christ.

Marriage is so. holy so difficult so important to reflect God passionate & faithful love.

Heroes are form not born.

God is more concerned with your character than your romance. Just a gold is refined by fire, our faith is tested and strengthen by trial. God is refining me through every problem that I wish I would never have to face.

Right now, you may want to have a relationship with God so He will help you build a good marriage. Embrace him the ultimate romance of your life, not just mean a happy marriage.

Ask and it shall be given

 The Conditions for Answered Prayer

Last time we talked about the “A” in the acronym P-R-A-Y, which is our way of understanding the steps in effective prayer. That “A” stands for ask, and I have come to believe that too many Christians don’t believe that God wants them to ask.

God wants you to ask. He really does. But there are some conditions He gives in order to answer your requests. In John chapters 14-16 we find a number of these conditions.

We need to remember that these are Jesus’ last hours with the disciples; and He wants them to understand how prayer really works. Over and over He emphasizes the need to ask, but His answers will be based on three conditions.

First, in John 14:13, Jesus says your request must glorify God,

“And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”

Second, in John 15:7, He says your request must be consistent and in harmony with His Word,

“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.”

And finally, in John 16:23-24, Jesus sets the condition that your request bring you joy,

“And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”

Over and over, Jesus commands you to ask. But when you ask, make sure your request will glorify God, that it is consistent with His Word, and that it will bring you joy.

So the “Y” in P-R-A-Y stands for yield. The question is: How do you practice yielding to God when you pray? Yielding is when you stop talking, and you wait, listen, and seek to hear from God

soap Colossians 3:12-13

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity Observation: What do we mean by clothe yourselves? Clothing usually refering to Wearing clothes, physical, here is spiritual clothing. Can ppl see if we clothe ourself we may asked. Of course, I believe so...We can recognise when the christian clothe themselves. HOw..? It's When we see the fruit of the spirit manifested in that person, the compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. So, Do I/we clothe ourselves daily? Application: We/I need to be aware that we are the ambasaddor of Christ and we ought to yield to the Holy spirit to help us with our walk daily & clothe of ourselves...When we encounter the unpleasant or tough situation, do we complain first or instead be gentle & patience to find out more..are we more considerate and compassion when seeing our sister going thru long suffering...? By being self control and yield to the Holy spirit, i believe we will be transformed to be more Christ-like. Prayer: Father God, i pray that your word be constantly be abiding to us as we walk daily. Holy spirit, help us to be always keeping the Word & be transformed day by day for your Glory. In Jesus name, i pray Amen! note: When you put on love, bcoz it bind everything together in perfect unity. All u do, do with your heart, do it unto the Lord.another word, working for the Lord.
