SAVING THE LOST, THE BROKEN, THOSE LIVING IN DARKNESS IS THE MAIN CONCERN
HEBREWS 12:26-29
New International Version
26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” 27 The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.(DO NOT BE SHAKEN!) FOCUS ON WHAT THE LORD WANTED TO SAY TO US...
28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”
HOW TO REACH OUT TO THE LOST?
KEY TO THE FUTURE IS FAITH.
HOW? WHAT WAY..
JOSHUA CROSS FROM JORDAN RIVER..TO PROMISED LAND
OLD SEASON FROM MOSES TO JOSHUA SEASON TO POSSESS THE PROMISED LAND.
GROWING FAITH to know Him better.
the Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. No hostility but understanding.
Ephesians 1:17-20
New International Version
17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength 20 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms,
TRUSTING FAITH to obey. Follow n obey Him implicitly. if doesnt understand. Roman 11:33-34
Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
How unsearchable his judgments,
and his paths beyond tracing out!
34 “Who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has been his counselor?”
New International Version
Moses and the Glory of the Lord
12 Moses said to the Lord, “You have been telling me, ‘Lead these people,’ but you have not let me know whom you will send with me. You have said, ‘I know you by name and you have found favor with me.’ 13 If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways (WAYS OF GOD, HIGHER THAN OURS, & HIS THOTS, ALL WISE..TO SEE HIS WISDOM TO UNDERSTAND HIM, KEEP OBEYING, FOLLOWING..) so I may know you and continue to find favor with you. Remember that this nation is your people.”
TESTED FAITH to follow & mature
transition is stormy. james 1:2-4
Trials and Temptations
2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
SURRENDER FAITH - no matter what i will serve Him.
Daniel 3:16-18
16 Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to him, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. 17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. 18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”
FAITH IN ONE ANOTHER
Jer.17 Verses 7 to 8
[7] Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
[8] For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruits
Joshua 3:1-9
Crossing the Jordan
3 Early in the morning Joshua and all the Israelites set out from Shittim and went to the Jordan, where they camped before crossing over. 2 After three days the officers went throughout the camp, 3 giving orders to the people: “When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, and the Levitical priests carrying it, you are to move out from your positions and follow it. 4 Then you will know which way to go, since you have never been this way before. But keep a distance of about two thousand cubits between you and the ark; do not go near it (TRUST THE PROCESS).”
5 Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.”
6 Joshua said to the priests, “Take up the ark of the covenant and pass on ahead of the people.” So they took it up and went ahead of them.
7 And the Lord said to Joshua, “Today I will begin to exalt you in the eyes of all Israel, so they may know that I am with you as I was with Moses. 8 Tell the priests who carry the ark of the covenant: (TRUST THE LEADERSHIP WHEN MOVE FORWARD) When you reach the edge of the Jordan’s waters, go and stand in the river.’”
9 Joshua said to the Israelites, “Come here and listen to the words of the Lord your God.
