DO WE KNOW HIM?
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us:
**THIS IS HOW HE SHOW HIS NATURE: "He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins."

When we become Christian, we take upon that nature. He is essence love itself. Like the light fr sun that produce the heat.

When born again, it's not abt imitation (doing), it's being.

Act of the holy spirit connect our selfish heart with God to allow our heart to work out his love.
How do we love?
God ask us to love in nature & not conditional.

Our choice is Fear or love?

Love the unlovable.
Why?
God didn't send his son to his love ones, while we are still rebelling (while we are still sinners, he died for us).
We must also allow ourself to love the unlovable, not judge them. Love even the unattractive.
What result?
No one ever seen God but if we love one another, God lives in us, the invisible God become visible to other, we begin to show God.
What is the Goal?
The master of universe made known thru us...this is a high calling for all of us!
We need the heart of Jesus. To be authentic Christian. Bcoz of God's love...I choose to love even the unlovable.

We need a Vision (prov 29:2) w/o vision the ppl perish
- current situation, what needed to change to be "what We visioned to be"
- what area I need to change by establish the vision.
- vision must be able to motivate u
🎯We must have the desire to change. Conscious involvement, progression. Intention must be there!! If we want it to be realised!
Eg lack of love (what are the ways to make me more loving??)
The means: to be more loving, "giving" ( John 3:16, God gives Jesus)
We must show love by initiating.... Eg. Help hubby to take out shoes hahhaaa!
Eg zacheus (a rich man) climb Tree to see Jesus.
Eg Moses (vision seen, obedient to God, earlier giving
Lots of excuses but finally..) - brought Israelites out of Egypt.
Be obedient to God!
Going to be discipline, structure..set aside time to do it

Thailand anti smoking campaign of 2 kids asked for lighter to smoke. Adult said no but they themselves are smoking. Kids gv the pamphlet "how come adult concern on children & what abt themselves?

1) Recognize the value of each person. Ps 139. For we r fearfully n wonderfully made!
- Gen 1 - God made man in his image. Our value stands.

2) how to value?
Philippians 2:3 do nothing out of selfish (humility) but look into the interest of others

3) turn desire to action 1john 3:18 dear children, don't love with words but in truth is action! Think of practical ways to love the unlovable. How?? Pray for them..., the hatred will ceased, God love will come. Choose to love even though our emotion don't feel like doing so..
