soap 5/7/23 cell - 2kings 5:10-11

10Elisha sent a messenger to say to him, “Go, wash yourself seven times in the Jordan, and your flesh will be restored and you will be cleansed.” 11But Naaman went away angry and said, “I thought that he would surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, wave his hand over the spot and cure me of my leprosy. O: In order to be healed, Naaman was asked to wash himself 7x in Jordan river. This request create lots of questions as to why need to wash 7x, cant just call out God's name & be healed? Why needed to go Jordan river, why not Abana n pharpar rivers of damascus? Why this & why that? Well, i believe if the prophet is speaking the word from God, we need to obey just like when we hear the WOrd, we required response. Either we do it or disobey. It takes faith even sometimes it make no sense to do but God wants us to obey him, the action of going to wash 7x in jordan river, is an act of obedience and God honour that faith, and therefore Naaman recd breakthru where his flesh was restored fr leprosy. q: ANY SIGNICANT OR RELATED TO WALL OF JERICHO, the walls of Jericho fell after the Israelites marched around the city walls once a day for six days, seven times on the seventh day, and then blew their horns.??? Application: Its important to know the Word and act on it, follow God's way and not our logic or convenience way. God has his purpose and all we need to do is to trust and obey him believing that He makes everything BEAUTIFUL in His time When we hear from God, help us to obey, as we trust & obey, lets Blessings & HEALINGS flow upon us, In Jesus name we pray, amen.
