The Lord will do what’s good in His sight.
His good : His eternal kingdom

*Fight earthly battles with eternity in view.*
God blesses is eternal.
I Chapter 8
DAVID SUBDUED SURROUNDINGS NATION
God give DAVID victories wherever he went. Ppl fighting God bcoz Israel is chosen by God.
David key role is warrior. Advise submitted. Conquered land.
Plunders
Gift to advance God kingdom
David did what is just n right.
Noticed he didn’t fight single handed but teamwork.
PRINCIPLE 1
Believe God’s promise and acting in faith is Victory.
II CHAPTER 9
DAVID SHOWED GENEROSITY TO JONATHAN’S SON
settings: new king will kill the previous kings heir for security purpose.
Mephibosheth overwhelms with David kindness. Pure grace.
God victories are meant to be shared.
PRINCIPLE 2
God’s victories thru His people extend His kindness.
Find every opportunity to share. God goodness n good news...pass it on bcuz his victories has eternal value, extend his kingdom.
III CHAPTER 10
DAVID DEFEATED THE AMMONITES & ARAMEANS
David shows condolences to them. Intend to show kindness. But his ppl were humiliated.
His role is to protect his ppl & God kingdom.
PRINCIPLE 3
GOD’S PEOPLE WILL ULTIMATELY BE VICTORIOUS OVER EVERY ENEMY
Do not fight God
For God will win
“Believing n trusting God strength is already victory.”
Conclude: we always win when we live, fight with eternity view.
